Quick Facts About SWCA
Why is SWCA called a “hybrid school”?
SWCA operates two separate but complementary programs. Core curriculum subjects are offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday and Thursday, parents can choose from among co-curricular enrichment classes offered by the Center for the Arts. The two programs are priced separately. Parents can enroll their children in one or both programs. Our programs are designed to help parents fulfill the requirements for school attendance established by the Department of Education and SWCA will help parents prepare the required paperwork for submission to the Department of Education’s Office of Homeschooling. Parents are responsible for making sure that their students complete the classes required by the DOE and the required number of hours of instruction.
